The Queen City Cup
How It Works
The Queen City Cup is our tour's season long side game contest that helps enhance the experience of our tournaments and players! The Cup is a component of the skills contest featured at each tournament and the signature series unique to our tour making it the #1 experience in AM golf anywhere!
Players have the option to sign up weekly and compete in four divisions which serve as local QC Cup qualifiers all season long ending at the tour championship.
Each event a medalist in gross, senior gross, net, and veteran/first responder net will qualify for the playoffs which end at the Tour Champ and Stonelick Hills.
All qualified players from each medal will playoff on Day 1 of the Tour Champ to make a cut line to earn a spot into the "featured foursome". Those four finalists in each medal race then compete on Day 2 at Stonelick with the lowest 36 hole score of the 2 days counting towards the crowing of the Queen City Cup! The Queen City Cup Medalist finishes ranked #1 on tour and plays FREE golf in 2024!
Divisions
Gold Medal:
This is an open division that combines the entire field in each tournament. Medalist is awarded by lowest gross score.
Silver Medal:
This is for all players 50 years and older in each tournament. Medalist is awarded by lowest gross score.
Bronze Medal:
This is an NET handicap division using the USGA Rule 3-5 to determine handicap and strokes for the entire field in each tournament. Medalist is awarded by lowest NET score.
Mission Medal:
This is an NET handicap division for our Vets and First Responders using the USGA Rule 3-5 to determine handicap and strokes for the entire field in each tournament. Medalist is awarded by lowest NET score.
"Pursuit of the Prize Pool!" -- Valued at $7,6000
Within Each Division (Gold / Silver / Bronze/Mission)- Prize Pool Payouts
- By Tournament est. $3000 season long payout: The Tournament Medalist at each tournament wins a cash payout or gift card from Golf Exchange.
- By Playoff; Final 4 Finalists est. $1600: All qualified players from each tournament will playoff on Day 1 of the Tour Champ to make a cut line of the "featured four" finalists who then compete on Day 2 at Stonelick. Each finalist will earn a $100 cash payout, gift card, and or tour credit.
- By Queen City Cup Overall Champion est $3000: All qualified players from Day 1 of the Tour Champ who make it into the "featured foursome" compete on Day 2 at Stonelick with the lowest combined score of the 36 holes and 2 days counting towards the crowing of the Queen City Cup! The Queen City Cup Medalist finishes ranked #1 on tour and plays FREE golf in 2024 up to a $750 tour credit and earn a trophy to celebrate their achievement!
- Official prizing will be announced before each tournament and the Tour Champ.
